Mount Feathersword

Mount Feathersword was so named after too much Wiggles on a wet Sunday afternoon in August when Jen and Neil were here. It's the mountain our flat overlooks, and when it rains heavily you get the most amazing waterfalls cascading down. Daddy thought it was called Stanley Mound- a crap name not least because it's nowhere near Stanley. So Mt. Feathersword it was that Mummy and Daddy climbed the day after Daddy's 31st birthday.

If you can see to my right is looking down on Repulse Bay and out to sea. You can also make out the spire of the church that Nuala's bedroom overlooks, next to the school.

Dancing Queen!

Mummy bought the new Madonna album. Normally I am into rocking out to The Killers and The Wiggles, but I could really get into this disco stuff. It's cool!

Tuesday

Late November in Hong Kong

The weather here in Hong Kong has been beautiful, here I am on the beach near my house on a Sunday afternoon. Apparently in England it's like zero degrees or something... Brrrrr!!

Daddy's girl...

Here's a fwe pictures of my Daddy reading me a story before I go to bed...

Sunday

My First Steps...

Here's a picture of me taking my first steps in early November 2005. OK, so I was just iver a year old... but look at me go now!!

November 2005

Just a Sunday in the playroom...

Granny & Pops- October 2005

I had a lovely time when Granny and Pops were here in October. They kind of spoliled me quite a lot: reading me stories and being funny. I have missed them since they left, but they are apparently back in March so I am really looking forward to it!

My First Birthday...

Well, here we are on my first Birthday. Mum & Dad bought me a pony, which I love. And Mum even taught me how to mount and dismount the pony... It reminds me of that song, "Watching the ponies galloping round, their tales in the air going swish, swish!'

September 2005

It's been a while since I updated my blog. In September, Uncle Steven and Aunite Sarah came to visit which I loved. It was great to see them. We took lots of photos when they were here, but it must have been on Uncle Steve's camera, because we only have a few with them. Anyway, here is a cheeky pic of me and Auntie Sarah...

Tuesday

Peek-a-boo!

This is me climbing up the slide, with the guiding hand of Dad just in case I do something crazy. I can get all the way up on my own, no problem. I then like to slide back down on my front which is a bit trickier.
This is Daddy and I playing peek-a-boo under the slide...

Where did he go?... There he is!!

I got him! Hurrah!!

The playroom

This is me in the playroom, which is where I hang out during the week with my pals. There are loads of great toys in the playroom, but my current favourite is this shopping trolley that I walk along with.

Monday

My wheels...

It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, which thankfully meant that Luke (one of my pals) was elsewhere so I had the green car all to myself. Broom broom!

I have no idea how I go into here...

Growing up...

At 11 1/2 months I have decided I am old enough now to start feeding myself. OK, so sometimes I don't quite get the spoon up to my mouth without all the food slipping off... and I admit my face, hands and everything within three feet of me gets covered... but it's great fun!
Dad took me out for a walk along the beach in my old puschair. It's so comfortable that I just feel asleep.

This is me with Edith having fish fingers for the first time. They were YUMMY!!!

Friday

Fun at the pool!

Well, it finally stopped raining in the second week, so we went to the pool. Uncle Neil was a brilliant laugh, throwing me all over the place. I was squealing with delight! I just love the water.

The flying baby and her little teeth!

Love that pool water- yummy!

Sunday

Jen & Neil August 2005

Here's a picture of me with Auntie Jennie and Uncle Neil. They arrived in mid-August and for the first week it rained and rained. We had fun staying in and watching The Wiggles and stuff, but I wish it had been more sunny for them.

This is a picture of them on the Star Ferry which goes from Central on the island, over to Kowloon. It costs $2.2 HKD, which is about 15p!

Tuesday

Summer Sunday...

A day at the beach.

Sunday is my nanny Edith's day off, so I get to spend a bit of time with mummy and daddy which I always love. Mummy and Daddy went out on Saturday night and stayed out quite late so Daddy spent the morning in bed while mummy and I watched Tellytubbies and stuff. After my afternoon nap, we went down to Middle Bay beach. It isn't far from Repulse Bay beach but a lot less crowded. It was very hot, and actually I prefer it when we go to the pool.

This is me trying ice cream for the first time. It was very tasty indeed....

And then I tried a mango ice lolly, but it was quite cold on my teeth...

So I went back to the ice cream, which was lovely because it was all melted. Yummy!

This is just before I went to bed, giving my mummy a cuddle. Good night!
