Monday

Happy Birthday Nuala!

Princesses on Ice

14 girls (mostly Auroras) 1 boy and lots of parents skating for the first time in many years- great fun!

Guess who is (almost) FIVE?!!

It's La-La's birthday (as Oscar calls Nuala) and these are the balloons we got for her birthday party at the Marina Club. This is one excited little girl. I think she gets her love of partying from Mama!

Poor Mama and Oscar are sick (with flu, in turns out) but they downed the medicine and got on with it :-)

Handsome young man...

So here's the new Oscar... short-haired and devilishly handsome!!

Oscar's First Haircut...

Well, Daddy thought it was finally time for baby Oscar to ditch those baby curls and get himself a proper haircut. It took a lot of courage from mummy to agree, but we all think the results were worth it. What a handsome young man he is!!

Wednesday

Oscar goes to school- September 09

Oscar at Sunshine House in Tai Tam. He will go there three mornings a week to start, and not before time. Oscar is a shy little thing around people he doesn't know and today he was just recovering from a three day bout of tonsillitis so he really wasn't on form. He spent most of the time just playing on his own.

He'll get there, little man that he is...

Septembers past and present: Back to School 2009

Nuala age nearly 5, going into Grande Section of the French International School.

Age nearly four, going into the Moyenne class.

At almost three, going into Petite Section.

And finally, her first school, Woodlands, in Repulse Bay when she was nearly two.

Bye bye Bali

Let's hope we are lucky enough to come back very very soon... :-)

Breakfast in Bed

What do you do when the kids wake at 6am every morning? Give them some Cornflakes and put Disney Channel on of course!

Holiday Snaps

Nuala watching the Balinese dancers and looking about 10. Goodness me.

Looking cute, but little O got sick on holiday. He caught the same cold as the girls but seemed to get it worse. No swimming for him the second week the poor man.

Nuala posing on the beach. The presenter of Britain's Next Top Model (which Nuala and Mummy love) was also staying in the resort but we were too shy to say hello!

Just in case Nuala forgets her name... we had them made for Izzie and Poppy too!

Me and my boy- what a sweetie!

Alu got BIG this year

You may remember from before, Alu is one of the monitor lizards that live at the Four Seasons. You see them every morning when you go up to the restaurant for breakfast. The guys give you a basket of bread and you can throw it into the pond to find Alu and the fishes.

But... guess who has started to *eat* the fish??

Consequently, Alu has gotten enormous!!

Back to (our Bali) Home

Somebody up there likes our little family. Here for the third year we are back in what Mummy calls her 'paradise'. Glorious.

End of the holiday

Here are the gang minus baby Thomas watching The Wizard of Oz before they go to bed. Movie was a bit scary but Nuala talked them through explaining it was just pretend.

Nuala and Isabella, best friends forever.

Oscar at the villa

Here's little Oscar on one of the staff's motorbikes with Agus, the driver. Oscar is obsessed with all things car, truck, digger etc. In fact he said the words 'car' and  'digger' before he much sooner than the more important ones like Mama. He's very cute though and calls me "LaLa"

Cheeky boy!!

Oscar doing his camera smile with the handsome Thomas.

Getting up to mischief with the hose in the garden- such fun!

Beach Babes

This was the surfing beach just next to our villa in Canngu. The waves were huge so we were only really able to paddle and jump in the waves but it was great fun.

Oscar and Daddy doing the flying baby trick- always a winner!

Racing on the beach, Baywatch style!

Oscar would have been very happy for Daddy to just let go of him and let him run into the waves.

Girl time pampering

The Mummies arranged a two-day pampering session for us girls. The first day we got our hair braided which took ages but looked stunning in the end. The second day we all had mani-pedis. While we were getting pampered the Daddies with Thomas and Oscar went to the beach club for a few afternoon drinks, chips and ice cream!
